Texas Mutual 2017 Workplace Injury Trends

Texas Mutual shares its policyholder workplace injury trends for 2017. 30% of serious claims took place in Texas Mutual's construction industry book. Those claims were divided in three categories: (1) slip, trips, and falls, (2) struck-bys, and (3) motor vehicle accidents. You can download the report here. Given the size and breadth of Texas Mutual's policyholder base, odds are these numbers are reflective of the industry as a whole. Texas Mutual policyholders should take particular note that Texas Mutual offers e-learning safety training through its online portal and recommends various modules for each of these categories.
